New Chairman of Supervisory Board

Wuerzburg, Germany – February 15 2011

vasopharm GmbH, a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of cerebro- and cardiovascular diseases, today announced the appointment of Dr Andrew Clark to its Supervisory Board. Dr Clark assumes the position as Chairman of the Board from Klaas de Boer who will remain as a member of vasopharm’s Board.

Dr Clark received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from St. Andrew's University and was a post-doctoral research fellow in pharmacology at the University of Oxford. He worked in London as a biotechnology analyst at Baring Securities. In 1995, Dr Clark co-founded Reabourne Ltd, an investment management business focused on small capitalization technology and biotechnology companies, acting as portfolio manager. He left Reabourne in 2003 following the sale of the business, and currently works as a consultant in the biotechnology field. He has held a number of non-executive directorships with life-science and investment companies which include Tepnel and Lifeline Scientific.
