Supervisory Board

Andrew Clark, PhD, Chairman, independent consultant in the biotech industry. He received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from St. Andrew's University and was a post-doctoral research fellow in pharmacology at the University of Oxford. He worked in London as a biotechnology analyst at Baring Securities. Dr. Clark co-founded Reabourne Ltd, an investment management business focused on small capitalization technology and biotechnology companies, acting as portfolio manager. He left Reabourne in 2003 following the sale of the business. He has held a number of non-executive directorships with life-science and investment companies which include Tepnel and Lifeline Scientific.

Klaas de Boer, Board Member, Managing Partner of Entrepreneurs Fund Management LLP, London, UK. He has spent the last 10 years working with entrepreneurial (technology) companies in Europe, Israel and the US in the areas of finance, strategy and business development. Previously he established and managed a corporate venturing team at Vanenburg Group, and worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Clemens Doppler, PhD, Board Member, is Managing Partner of HeidelbergCapital Asset Management GmbH.

Thomas Lander, MD, Board Member, is an independent R&D consultant to the biotech industry. He is a physician with board certification in internal medicine and diabetology. Dr Lander has spent 23 years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry where he had senior management positions with major international companies including Boehringer Ingelheim, NovoNordisk, BMS, GSK and Merck. Most recently, he was managing director of CureVac, Tuebingen.
